At the helm of The Social Office is Owner and President, Dori Thornton Waller. Born and raised in Chattanooga, Tennessee, Dori moved to Washington, D.C. where she became one of the youngest Deputy Social Secretaries in recent history under the Bush Administration. She has executed some of the most Demanding and meticulous events in the world While juggling cultures and personalities that spanned the globe. Upon her departure from D.C., Dori moved to Nashville, Tennessee where she began her Business in 2009. From Gala’s for 800 to small soirees for 25, Dori has done it all.

Dori currently Resides in Chattanooga, Tennessee with her husband, Blake, and two young children, Madolyn and Annie Blake.

Margaret Andrews

A Nashville native, Margaret Joined the Social office heading up the Nashville office in 2021. As Event Manager, you’ll find Margaret has a hand in most everything from guest lists to contracts to logistics. She began her career in hospitality on the vendor side of events and transitioned into full planning where her attention to detail, love for organization, and eye for design were a natural fit. You’ll often find her leading the charge and trouble shooting on site, checking e-mails, and generally making sure everything goes off without a hitch!

Margaret’s favorite event is a small intimate dinner, or a Wedding at home.

Deidre Sayko

Production Manager

A jack of all trades, Deidre has been with the Social Office since its inception in 2009. her background spans many categories but the largest of which is her time in D.C. working with Numerous Sound and Lighting Firms. As Logistics Director, you’ll find Deidre managing all aspects of load ins from forklifts to generators. Her Library of production knowledge is never ending! You’ll often find her at light check, confirming scheduling with the band, or fixing tent rain gutters.

Emma graduated from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga and joined our team after completing a Semester internship in the Chattanooga office. Following her internship she joined the Nashville Office in a permanent role. she’s often behind the scenes bringing events to life — from creating escort card walls and assisting bridesmaids to tying up every last loose end that keeps event days running seamlessly!

Emma’s favorite events are when we’re traveling - no matter the destination!
